“My art keeps me awake at night! I think of new ideas then have to get up and draw them…it has been like this since I was young and I have always kept sketch books with me to capture a moment.”
Come along to Gallery at St Martin’s, Hungate, Lincoln to see her work.
Sharon is an emerging local artist who only started painting again in 2018 after a long break away from art and more recently in the last 12 months has been concentrating on developing her abstract work based on contemporary design principles and processes.

An exclusively online exhibition, open now.
Sarah usually works almost exclusively en plein air, channelling her immediate emotional response to the surrounding countryside into expressive marks and colour.
However, lockdown over the past year forced her, for the first time, to work from photographs she had taken in the previous weeks when travel was allowed, and paint within her studio environment.
This brought about an unexpected freedom, where the self-imposed constraints of en plein air painting were broken, allowing her to use brand new autumn and winter palettes on landscapes previously too cold to face outside.
Her exhibition title ‘Three Seasons’ highlights this extension of her bold use of colour to embrace rusty reds, golden browns, ice blues and all the beauty the colder months have to offer.
The exhibition is exclusively online, just go to www.sarahwatsonfineart.com
For further information contact Sarah directly on firstname.lastname@example.org or 0774 8110951.
I am facilitating four sketching walks at Gibraltar Point open to everyone interested.
These are free and hopefully a lovely opportunity to get out in nature and spend some time sketching again.
The events are in support of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.
