Painting always offers excitement with challenges to be met and explored, and in my affectionately named ‘Chatsworth Studio’ at the bottom of my garden, surrounded by work old and new I can see an ever increasing interest and movement towards abstraction.

My more recent work reflects my love of colour shape and line wether it be a landscape from a place I have visited near or far, or from a small patch of colour in my tangled garden.
Nature and landscape will always provide inspiration as it composes itself in a multitude of ways to be seen and recreated on the canvas.

I had my first exhibition in Lincoln in 2017 and was accepted into The Lincolnshire Artists’ Society in 2019.
